As a kid, I hated the nickname Mandy. Thanks to the creativity of my middle-school friends, Mindi was born. I have always loved creating artwork, whether painting or colored pencil. I studied traditional art at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign for a year before switching to a business focus, however I couldn’t deny my passion for art and have happily found my way back through By Mindi Art. The name “By Mindi” is an homage to that middle-school kid who never spent a day without drawing or painting something, and who could never have imagined owning a business that allowed her to practice her passion.
